Most know me as Lo...so thats what you can call me. Im 25 yrs young but likes to think my intelligence is way beyond my years. I drink more whiskey than I do water and the only filter I have for my mouth is the one attached to my cigarette. My writing is sarcastic, vulgar, and inappropriate at times but that's what gives me the honor of being the bastard child of Chelsea Handler and Tucker Max. Unfortunately I live in a hell hole called San Antonio, but somehow the people around me turn it into a slice of Heaven. I am a full time fag and a 1st assistant at Zumiez, so I keep myself pretty busy but I make time for those who matter. This is all unknown to him. Here’s his story. It started when Ricky’s role model and grandfather passed away. He was the only person Ricky could really rely on and without a father; his grandfather was his male figure growing up. Ricky then took the role as the man of the house for his mother. Well, he has been working at AMC Theatres Las Vegas, at minimum wage to support he and his family. When he first started working there, he quickly became one of the best employees until we noticed a downfall in his performance. When it came to evaluation time, I had to address the situation. That’s when he told me that he was diagnosed with cancer from a tumor that’s in his eye. The treatment that he is undergoing takes a lot of energy out of him and his heart isn’t strong enough for him to go through treatments and continue pushing forty-hour weeks. His hours had to decrease so that he wasn’t over working himself. To add, his mother has been in Texas and he hasn’t talked to her about it because he doesn’t want to worry her. With this one job, he is trying to pay for his hospital bills that his insurance doesn’t cover. He’s already been hospitalized twice and has tried to remove the tumor through laser removal but it keeps coming back. And just a few days ago, he got a call from his cousin, telling him that his mother is in Texas because she has colon cancer and is trying to get treated out there. Please Ellen, he truly deserves this chance.   Please, just imagine the things that could change for he and his family if we just take a few minutes to submit this information to Ellen. We all know the amazing things she does, every day, for families and people in need. This is no different.
